These were taken on August 6th, the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord. This is at the phase of the shrine building where:

- the path has been cleared
- the shrine-clearing has been made
- the shortcut from the cemetery has been cleared
- the footing for the column for the statue has been dug
- three-fourths of the bridges have been constructed
- an anonymous donation has been pledged for the total cost of the forthcoming statue(s)
the entrance, as seen from the center of the cemetery
the entrance, with Pont ex Brian
enter and turn left, walking straight
coming around the curve to the left, pass the wall of cleared trees
continue straight, a little wobbly
here we are, the view of two bridges: first, Pont ex Princeps, then, Pont ex Fratello, in the distance
over Pont ex Fratello and into the mystical pine path
photo is a little blurred, but notice the gnarly vines
we just turned left and, aah, the clearing is in view!
(notice the hanging pine straw, like Spanish moss)
whose that guy?
he doesn't look happy, but he is
(remember the old-school photos where no one smiled)
on the way out, through the shortcut, looking back
there is the ditch for the shortcut into the clearing
stepping back again, photo shot from the center of the cemetery into the shortcut
